Lipetsk communists accused the authorities of stealing Stalin's name.

The Lipetsk regional committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) announced the theft of a patriotic banner dedicated to the "SVO" (SVO), depicting Stalin and a participant in the "special operation," from their building. The communists believe this is the governor's revenge. Igor Artamonov for demanding his resignation. 

"The authorities' attack on the Lipetsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) continues. <…> We are convinced that the searches of the CPRF offices, the police questioning of deputies, and the removal of the banner are all links in the same chain. Thus, Governor Artamonov, whose resignation we demand, is taking revenge for our political struggle."- said First Secretary of the Lipetsk Regional Committee Nikolay Razvorotnev.

The banner, according to the communists, was supposed to symbolize "the connection between generations fighting fascism." In other words, it couldn't be more patriotic. But it didn't work. The image hung for only a day. It was "barbarously torn down and taken away to an unknown location." 

This week, a meeting was held in the Lipetsk office of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation search, during which they confiscated leaflets and a newspaper demanding the governor's resignation. The next day, police came again—due to an "unauthorized event," that is, a meeting with voters in the courtyard of a residential building. The communists claimed pressure on the eve of the elections. 

Now they themselves called the police to report the theft.
