Z-provocateurs again attempted to disrupt a memorial event in Sandarmokh, where more than six thousand people were killed during the Great Terror.

People wearing masks and wearing the chevrons of the "Russian Community" appeared in the forest area. Sandarmokh, where today, as per tradition, they commemorate the victims of the Great Terror. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Moscow Yabloko party. Kirill Goncharov, who arrived in Karelia honor the memory of those shot.

At the same time, security forces searched the homes of two Karelian activists who were planning to attend the memorial event.

According to historians, during the repressions of 1937-1939, more than six thousand people were shot in the Sandarmokh forest area.
