"Check if she's wanted or not": A park defender was detained near the Saratov lyceum where Vyacheslav Volodin arrived.

Natalia Kapridova came out with a poster to Lyceum No. 64, where the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, elected from Saratov region, holds a meeting on the renovation of schools and kindergartens.

The activist tried to draw the deputy's attention to the destruction of the "Territory of Childhood" park, where sawing trees for the construction of a school. Local residents underlinethat this is the only green space in the area, and the school is needed elsewhere, closer to the new houses.

Last week, a police officer who attended a public meeting against tree felling, threatened shoot dissatisfied people.

Today, another police officer who detained Kapridova advised other residents to "worry about their own safety." He explained that the detainee would be taken to the station to be checked against the wanted list.
