A janitor from Yamal has been charged with 12 years in prison for posts about Bucha. He had previously complained of being threatened with rape. 

According to investigators, Igor Yakunichev, a janitor from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the author of the YouTube channel about police and judicial abuse, "Infinity is not the Limit," in August 2022 did Several posts on VKontakte about the events in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. Yakunichev posted a video with the titles: "Russian soldiers shot a family near Bucha," "Russian clerical. Butcher of the Russian world?", "They systematically killed people. What were Russian soldiers doing in Bucha," "Current time. Bucha is a witness in Spain," and "I will not fight for the imperial ambitions of a dictator." Yakunichev's channel had 96 subscribers. 

Yakunichev's social media posts were also found about the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station explosion and his support for the Freedom of Russia Legion. For this, Yakunichev was charged with discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, spreading false information about the military, justifying terrorism, and inciting attacks on state security. 

Today, the prosecutor requested a 12-year prison sentence for Igor Yakunichev, finding his actions "motivated by political hatred." As SotaVision reports, the judge, even at the first hearing, described the information about the mass murder of civilians in Bucha as "the work of the Center for Social Security and Socio-Political Action." 

Yakunichev pleaded not guilty. His defense will testify in court on September 4. 

Igor Yakunichev is being held in Pretrial Detention Center No. 5 in Yekaterinburg. He complains that he is being denied visits from his mother, that letters are not being delivered, and that a pretrial detention center employee threatened to rape him. He spent nearly six months in solitary confinement.
