Krasnoyarsk City Council accepted the resignation of Mayor Vladislav Loginov. He was arrested 3 months ago 

Today, September 16, Vladislav Loginov officially stopped be mayor Krasnoyarsk — it was accepted by city council members. As the LDPR deputy explained Ivan PetrovLoginov signed his resignation letter on July 31, but it was only received by the city council on September 15. 

Vladislava Loginova detained back in early June. He is suspected of accepting a bribe of 180 million rubles from a major road contractor. He is currently in a Moscow pretrial detention center. 

For more than 3 months, while in prison, Loginov continued to formally remain the mayor of the city. 

Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Mikhail Kotyukov will appoint Acting mayor for 10 days. Today, during a live Q&A session, he announced that the mayor of Krasnoyarsk will appear until the end of 2025.
