"Boys will see!" Parents in Primorye are outraged by the presence of sanitary pads in school first aid kits.

In Primorsky schools, parents have started complaining about young teachers: sanitary pads were spotted in their medicine cabinets for public access. As the young teacher says in the video, one parent insists that this shouldn't be the case: in the Soviet Union, these topics were taboo, and even parents didn't talk about menstruation with girls. Today, however, sanitary pads are visible not only to girls but also to boys, who "don't need to know about periods."

"Why in the 21st century are girls shamed for a physiological characteristic, a characteristic they have no control over? It's nature! And why should only girls know about periods? It's normal physiology. And the fact that they didn't talk about it in the Soviet Union is a huge negative," the teacher says in the video.

Previously Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Russian University of Medicine Victoria Kasyan She stated that "a huge number of restrictions" hinder sex education for schoolchildren. According to her, gynecologists are not allowed to teach lessons due to a lack of pedagogical training, as well as for ethical and religious reasons.

At the same time, regions began to develop plans for pregnant schoolgirls and students. For example, as follows from the decree approved by the government Oryol region, This year, officials expect 150 pregnant schoolgirls and students. In 2026, according to plans, this figure should rise to 160, and in 2027, to 180. To meet these expectations, regional authorities have already allocated one-time payments of 100 thousand rubles per person. Authorities Kaluga region They also published a decree according to which 123 pregnant students are expected in 2025, 130 in 2026, and 143 in 2027.
