A 15-million-ruble berth: the director of the Kronstadt Museum of Military Glory was caught taking a bribe.

On October 6, the Petrogradsky Court of St. Petersburg arrested Yevgeny Grigorkin, director of the Kronstadt Naval Glory Museum, reported Press service of the courts of St. Petersburg. 

According to investigators, in April 2024, an unnamed businessman transferred part of the money to him, seeking in exchange for a lease on a pier in a military town. The businessman transferred the remaining funds under the watchful eye of the FSB. The intermediary was businessman Roman Seleznev, who is also currently in pretrial detention. 

Grigorkin eventually arranged for a 5-year lease agreement for this pier. 

How to clarifies According to Novaya Gazeta, Yevgeny Grigorkin is a former Defense Ministry employee. He worked on the Patriot Park construction site and was deputy head of construction for the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces. He later baptized his child there. 

He became the museum's director in 2023. The Grigorkin Museum is no longer listed on the website.
