У Anastasia Kostina She has no formal art training, but one day she began creating ceramic figurines of Lesovichoks. Three years ago, Anastasia enrolled in a clay modeling course. She didn't immediately understand what exactly she wanted to create, but chance helped. A stranger asked her to make an aroma pendant, and Anastasia's imagination took off. She became fascinated with sculpting Lesovichoks.
"Lesovichki are special characters, and I treat them more than just ceramic figurines. I feel like I have a mission to bring them into this world, to give people peace, joy, tranquility, and grounding in our fast-paced world. I'm in love with creating Lesovichki."- said Olga, She told the journalists.
The assortment includes a forest spirit calendar with flip-over numbers, a forest spirit lamp, a forest spirit mug, and a forest spirit incense holder with smoke billowing from its mouth. Late last year, she created 60 New Year's forest spirits, and they sold out immediately. They were shipped to Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
Anastasia had often considered finding a serious, stable job, but she'd always caught herself thinking: the forest spirits weren't letting go just yet. And why bother, when her characters were so easily sold in the capital, not far from Red Square?
It often happens that a hobby becomes a full-time job. For example, two Nizhny Novgorod residents became fascinated with creating papier-mâché figurines, quitting very respectable jobs to do so.
