Drunk and Dancing. Two forests top the list of Russia's most mystical places.

First place went to Drunken Forest in the Ryazan region, second - Pskov the Kremlin, the third is again the forest, but in the Kaliningrad regionThey call him Dancing. Survey I spent travel service "Tutu.ru".

"The tree trunks there are strangely twisted. The cause is unknown. Perhaps a hurricane or electromagnetic radiation is to blame.", — says the material about the Drunken Forest near Ryazan.

The forest was planted about 60 years ago on the site of a cleared oak grove. There are about a hundred "drunken" trees there, covering an area roughly the size of a football field. The remaining trees are completely "sober" and straight. Besides the above-mentioned theories, there are other, more popular ones: aliens are to blame for the crookedness of the trees, or, at worst, witches.

In second place was shrouded in legends Pskov Kremlin (Krom). According to legend, three rays of the sun showed Princess Olga where to build the fortress.

Third place went to the Dancing Forest on the Curonian Spit. Theories about the tree's distortion are similar to those in Ryazan, but there's also another theory: strong winds literally twisted the trunks. The most twisted of them are called "The Devil's Gate" and "The Devil's Horns".

The top five also included: Lake Birjaly in Kabardino-Balkaria, where “German soldiers were looking for the entrance to the mythical land of Shambhala,” and Lake Labynkyr in the Oymyakonsky ulus in eastern Yakutia.
