Farewell, Razgulyai! Residents of Perm's "wooden" neighborhood disagree with the demolition of their homes to make way for the KRT.

Razgulyai is a low-rise wooden neighborhood in the city center. Some buildings are unpresentable, while others resemble exhibits in an open-air museum. Some residents of Razgulyai have already purchased modern housing and moved in, while others are waiting for news about the KRT sadly. They are against demolition lead the following arguments:
"Our opinion in Razgulyai—and that's the majority of Razgulyai—is that we shouldn't be torn down. Let them bring us water and gas, and we'll be able to live peacefully. Tourists come here—they're quite shocked that somewhere in Perm, pre-revolutionary streets have been preserved."
"Everything will be filled with high-rise buildings, and what will happen here? Nothing, no history";
"They tell us we're not a future—the houses in Razgulyay will stand until at least 2027, then they'll be torn down. But I'm not leaving. If they tear down the house, I'll build a dugout here and live there."
The KRT was intended to improve living conditions for residents of dilapidated and hazardous housing, as well as create new infrastructure. Instead, both sturdy buildings and historically valuable structures are being demolished.
Most Razgulyay residents believe the authorities should pay attention to the wooden houses in the neighborhood—either repairing them, reconstructing them, or allowing people to build new private homes there.
The auction for the right to conclude a contract for construction of a construction site in the Razgulyai microdistrict will take place on December 22.
In most cases, the KRT brings nothing but major problems to residents of old housing stock.
