Officials in Nakhodka handed over a bag of groceries to a pensioner who was descending a slope on a rope and promised to build a ladder.

Head Finds by Timur Maginsky on their social networks reported that, on his instructions, representatives of the administration, the prosecutor's office, and social services visited the pensioner Natalia Alekseevna.

Earlier, a video appeared on social networks with Natalya Alekseevna, who was forced On all fours and using a rope, they descended a dangerous slope to reach the store and buy milk. A staircase had previously existed in this area, but had rotted away over time. The video sparked a public outcry, and local officials responded. 

Timur Maginsky noted that the pensioner lives in a private home with a friend who helps her with housework. Natalya Alekseyevna has no children and doesn't communicate with other relatives. The elderly woman was also given some food to get her through the initial period, but Maginsky did not specify what exactly. 

The head of Nakhodka also promised that "work has already begun on constructing a new safe staircase": design work is underway, and extra-budgetary funds are planned for installation.
