Recruitment for war and pride in "brave warriors": social media analysis of a Krasnoyarsk school where parents of students were fined for "discrediting the army"

This morning on social media of Secondary School No. 3 of the village Tinsky Appeared A recruitment video for the "unmanned systems forces." It invites those who "waste time" playing computer games to venture into the "SVO" zone, where "reality isn't virtual," "weapons adhere to physics," and "the rewards are worthy."

"Because this isn't a game, this is for real people." — the video claims, inviting you to press the "start" button on "your incredible career." The introduction promises service "far from combat contact points," exemption from conscription, and a contract for a minimum of one year.

The advertisement does not specify that the law does not allow a service member to terminate a contract with the Ministry of Defense after one year.

Over the past month, several posts supporting the war have been published on the school's social media. In particular, in December, teachers told about the meeting of students with a participant of the "SVO" Alexander Gulmatov  and emphasized, that "our country is proud of its army and its brave warriors." 

School students occupied Prizes in the district competition "We Remember! We Are Proud!" – for "videos, photographs, drawings, and essays dedicated to heroes of the past and present."

In November school urged students to enter educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense and told about a meeting with a member of the "SVO" Maxim Arsenyev.
