Sometimes, solving even the smallest problems requires incredible efforts to overcome bureaucracy. But people don't give up. NeMoskva tells the story of these small but important victories.
👍Residents of the house in Vladimir have achieved closing a noisy hostel in the basement. This wasn't easy: the premises belong to a member of the regional Public Chamber. To Tatyana Pitirimova, the mother of a city council deputy Nikolai PitirimovSince 2023, the hostel, at the request of regulatory authorities, suspended operations, changed its legal entity, and resumed operations. Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) helped the residents: the agency successfully sued to have the shelter closed;
👍Residents of a five-story building in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast many years fought for the transfer Trash containers were pushed away from the building's wall. The management company installed them two meters away. Residents were unable to open their windows in the summer, and rats appeared on the ground floors. In 2019, the management company, at the request of the court, moved the containers further away, but a year ago, they returned them to their original location. The prosecutor's office ultimately ordered the management company to remove the containers from under the residents' windows.
👍Residents of 30 apartments in a building on Tolstoy Street in Vladivostok were able to sue Compensation for flooding of apartments during renovations. The contractor removed the old roof without installing protective material, and the residents of the upper floor were flooded during a rainstorm. They fought for their rights for two years, and the court ruled in their favor. The Capital Repairs Fund will have to compensate them for the damages;
👍About 380 thousand rubles sued wheelchair user from Voronezh The management company "Sovremenny Uroven" (Modern Level) sued the man for breaking his legs. He was descending a ramp when it became covered in ice. He fell, along with his wheelchair, and broke both legs. The court ordered the management company to compensate the Voronezh resident for medical expenses and moral damages.
