🟥 An activist from Yoshkar-Ola received a prison sentence of 2 years and 8 months for "involvement in Navalny's campaign." 

Yoshkar-Ola City Court appointed Two years and eight months in prison for activist Sergei Mamaev in the case of involvement in Navalny's headquarters under Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization). 

The reason for this was Mamaev's posts about political actions initiated by the FBK, as well as mentions of the activist in the Telegram channel "Navalny's Team" and his correspondence with opposition figures.

A criminal case was opened against Mamaev last summer. The activist has been in pretrial detention since the end of July. Previously, he attracted to administrative responsibility, including for actions in support of Navalny. 

In February 2024, when the murder of the politician in the colony became known, Mamaev detained while laying flowers at the monument to the victims of political repression, but then the matter ended with the presentation of a warning.
