"A legend of St. Petersburg courtyards and our hearts": Artem Brovkov, leader of the St. Petersburg rap group KREC, has died.
The 46-year-old musician's wife announced his death. Valentina Berezkina On social media: "It's very hard for me to write this, but Artem is no more. A few hours ago, he was in a terrible accident. The doctors did everything they could, but they couldn't save him."

Artem Brovkov (known in musical circles as Fuze) - the founder of the created in St. Petersburg In 2001, he joined the rap project KREC, becoming a permanent member, main MC and author of most of the lyrics.
The group became the flagship of the Kitchen Records group and created a style unique to Russia—"St. Petersburg intellectual rap." Unlike the aggressive trends of the time, KREC's music was built on melancholy, live instruments, and complex poetry.
In recent years, KREC has been a solo project. Over the years, Brovkov and his team have released over 15 albums, including the landmark "FRVTR" and "Comics" series. Fuze was known for his integrity: he rarely gave high-profile interviews and distanced himself from show business, maintaining his status as an underground legend.
In 2022, Artem publicly spoke out against the SVO and left the country. He lived in the United States. In 2025, Russian authorities designated him a "foreign agent."
