A Barnaul resident has achieved the status of a Leningrad survivor years later.

91-year-old To Viktor Mostakov Finally, he was awarded the "Resident of Siege of Leningrad" badge. The pensioner had been in court for years to obtain the status: he spent three months and three weeks during the siege, while the law required four months.

"Viktor Mostakov was born in Leningrad in 1934. During a bombing raid, a shell hit the apartment where his family lived.
