"This is your new home!" A man from Penza found a mother cat whose kittens were about to be drowned.

Vitaly from Penza took out the trash on Easter and found A bag containing four kittens was found in a garbage dump—they were about to be drowned. He was able to nurse three of the kittens back to health, but one, unfortunately, died. But he didn't let it go so easily—he conducted an investigation to find the mother cat.

"My neighbor has a camera that looks out onto the parking lot and the dumpster where the kittens were dumped. I don't want the other three to suffer the same fate. If we find the cat, that would be wonderful," Vitaly began his investigation.

The store clerk recognized the man in the video and gave him the address. Vitaly found the apartment where the mother cat was believed to be.

“She just gave birth, we drowned them on the second day,” one of them admitted.

The cat turned up at home. Her name is Dunya. Vitaly took her in, promising to return her to her owners, just so he could take her back. But she's unlikely to return: Dunya immediately accepted the kittens and started licking them. She still had some milk left, and the babies started feeding—no longer from Vitaly's bottle.

He refused the financial assistance offered by his subscribers, even though thousands of people were following the story.

"If at least every third or fifth person fought for helpless and innocent animals like you do, this world would be a much better and kinder place," comments support the boy and his cat family.
