A self-built church was legalized through the courts in Gus-Khrustalny.

The Church of the Holy Blessed Princes Alexander Nevsky and Daniel of Moscow was built back in 2018. However, it turned out that a construction permit had not been issued. The mayor's office refused to allow the clergy to commission the building. However, the parish prevailed, and the building was legalized through the courts.

The Arbitration Court found that the building was constructed on a parish-owned plot of land, there were no concerns about its safety or the safety of the surrounding area, and it "does not violate the rights and legally protected interests of others." The court decided legalize the building.

"Religious organizations in the Vladimir region continue to ignore secular laws. Another unauthorized church construction was discovered in the region, which had to be legalized through the courts."- wrote The local publication "Chesnok" reports on the situation.

In 2016 year in Alexandrov In the Vladimir region, a so-called chapel of St. Panteleimon the Healer was erected on the grounds of a hospital. Essentially, an entire church, complete with a refectory and altar, was built, and services were held in the illegal structure. Last summer, it was also legalized through the Arbitration Court. The court's arguments included the following: the church was built on a separate plot of land permitted for religious use, the building complies with fire safety requirements, and meets technical standards.
