An activist from the Ryazan outback brought a case of large-scale deforestation to court.

Vladimir Gorokhov from a workers' settlement Ryazan Oblast boot achieved a court decision against a local forester and former deputy from United Russia for deforestation.

Gorokhov is an activist and former head of the Sapozhok administration, elected by local residents.
