Business class to a new life: A Baltic seal was rescued in the Leningrad region.
The baby arrived at the Baltic Seal Friends Foundation in complete comfort – in the passenger seat of a good man’s car named Sergey.

“We don’t usually recommend this method of transportation, but we made an exception for this poor fellow due to his extreme calmness towards humans,” — the volunteers write.
The seal pup is emaciated and frozen. According to the Friends of the Baltic Seal Foundation, he wouldn't have survived the spring weather in Lake Ladoga on his own. So, congratulations on being spotted. Congratulations, and we wish you lots of tasty fish!
It's worth noting that there are no more than 200 Baltic ringed seals left in the Gulf of Finland. Some believe that species become extinct naturally, but this is not the case. The seals are primarily being killed by the negative impact of humans on their habitat. This process is currently reversible. The main goal of the "Friends of the Baltic Ringed Seal Foundation" is to rehabilitate the pups. Marine mammal pups are often separated from their mothers early and cannot survive without human assistance.
