And also in Moscow… lessons on the bus
Ulyana traveled the world, studied English in the USA, but came to visit her parents in Altai and stayed.
"They have a guest house here, and I came to help with cleaning and settling in in the fall. And I never wanted to leave," Ulyana told NeMoskva.
But everyone has things to do in the village, and Ulyana is also an English teacher. She decided to get creative and bought a bus! She plans to turn an old PAZik bus into an office or a classroom.
"I want to welcome my students there, organize speaking clubs, and serve everyone tea that I collect here myself. There are lots of windows on the bus, and the herbs will dry quickly in the sun," Ulyana says.
Ulyana does all the work herself. She's already cleared the bus of all unnecessary clutter.
"Now the bus is bare. Just the walls, floor, and roof. The next step, I think, is to redo the floor. And then it will become a summer house or an office."
Ulyana plans to hold her first lessons there this summer. She hasn't yet decided whether the bus will operate in the winter, as heating is a hassle.
