Around 500 homes were flooded in the Sverdlovsk region. And the unusual downpours aren't limited to that region.

🔸 Sverdlovsk Oblast The river has been flooding for three weeks now. Heavy rains have caused several rivers to overflow their banks. A state of emergency is currently in effect in six districts. Flooded Around 500 houses and over 1200 garden plots were damaged. Several roads were destroyed, and 21 settlements were cut off from public transport.

🔸 Due to heavy rains also suffers Transbaikalia, where between 15 and 55% of the average monthly precipitation fell in two days. An embankment on the Trans-Siberian Railway was washed away, forcing train service to temporarily switch to an adjacent track.

🔸 In Buryatia a river that overflowed its banks carried away residential building, vehicle traffic is restricted on several roads.

🔸 Heavy downpours completed and North Ossetia: part of the roadway on the Transkam was washed away by mudflows.
