A portrait of the famous playwright was spontaneously painted on a building in Yekaterinburg. Nikolai Kolyada. It appeared last night on the wall of the creative cluster "Bread Factory No. 6".

However, artists from the "On the Mountain" creative studio suggested doing something more interesting. So, they painted a famous playwright over the graffiti.

Nikolay Kolyada gone He passed away in March of this year at the age of 68. He is remembered as the creator of the unique Kolyada Theatre, which over the course of 26 years has become one of the hallmarks of Yekaterinburg. 

It is interesting that this week the city authorities approved another mural with the playwright - it was supposed to to appear On a noise-absorbing fence near the Ural University of Economics, it became the first street object dedicated to Kolyada. Now, it seems, it will be the second.

The mayor's office also announced its readiness to name one of the streets in honor of Nikolai Kolyada.
