A group of Ingush women sent a video message to the authorities asking them to stop the demolition of the "Towers of Two Rivals (Wives)"—identified cultural heritage sites. The Safmar Charitable Foundation responded to the call.

The women hired a renowned craftsman, who built the towers on an inaccessible cliff.
The exact time of the towers' construction has not yet been determined. However, it is known that construction of similar structures in this area ceased in the 18th century.
