A headquarters has been established in Anapa due to a major fire in floodplains covering 10 hectares.

Near the Chemburka farm near Anapa, a blaze has engulfed an area of approximately 10 hectares. The situation is being exacerbated by gusty winds, which are blowing a thick curtain of smoke for kilometers around. Residents of nearby villages are advised to close their windows tightly and refrain from going outside unless absolutely necessary.

Security measures and road closures

Fire crews have been put on standby in the village of Anapskaya to prevent the fire from spreading to residential buildings. Due to poor visibility and safety concerns, authorities have temporarily restricted traffic on the federal highway near the village, closing the section from the Chemburka roundabout to the interchange.

Grouping of forces and extinguishing the emergency

An emergency response center has been established at the scene to coordinate the actions of emergency services. Eighty rescuers and 25 units of specialized equipment, including swamp vehicles for working in hard-to-reach areas, are involved in extinguishing the large fire.
