🤯 A Cossack alphabet book for children has been published in the Sakhalin Region. The regional government claims it "contains the basic concepts of the Cossack character, culture, and way of life." But in reality, most of the words promote patriotism and religion—icons, church, fatherland, Russia, and, for some reason, "ukhatka" (a way of holding a fastidiously slang word).
