"For over two years, dozens of garbage trucks have been driving past residential buildings on the streets of the village every day, and toxic waste from the landfill has been leaking into a canal near rice fields. An inspection has revealed a significant increase in mercury levels in the leachate. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnodar Krai, Andrei Maslov, to report on the circumstances established during the criminal investigation and, upon completion, on its results.
