A schoolgirl in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug was reported for her braids with yellow and blue ribbons.
As reported by CTD, the headmistress of one of the schools in Pyt-Yakh Previously a police lieutenant colonel, she is now proud that her school has Yunarmiya classes, that "heroes of the SVO" attend classes, and that the school itself collects humanitarian aid for the Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine.
The principal was displeased when one of the students came to school with blue and yellow ribbons woven into her braids. She was also outraged that the girl had a yin-yang symbol shaved into her head, which the principal mistook for "one of the symbols of Azov." The woman filed a complaint with the police.
Authorities have launched an investigation. Investigators are looking into not only the schoolgirl but also the craftswoman. Vera Sokhareva, who created the girl's braids. Sokhareva herself told NEFT about this.
"It's not even a yellow ribbon, it's a light green one. The child plays soccer and chose a ribbon to match the color of her cleats. She's only eight years old; she doesn't even understand politics. She simply chose bright colors that caught her eye. When we were getting her hair done, there was no thought of any propaganda. But now investigators are coming to my house to investigate. The school staff's actions are completely out of line. We had no orders banning any colors. I have three children myself, and these are their favorite bright colors.", the woman shared.
