The head of a Ryazan enterprise for the deaf, who spoke about the sale of a production building, is being forced to resign.

Director of a business for deaf people in Ryazan Dmitry Shalimoв рассказал, that the management All-Russian Society of the Deaf (VOG) demanded that he resign. This happened after Shalimov told the media about the plans of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf sell the enterprise building.
Instead of selling the building, the VOG leadership entered into an agreement with a new organization, Monolith, which produces pencils. The company will lease the production building, a dormitory for the deaf, and a boiler room, maintain them, and pay the rent. The premises will be converted for pencil assembly, and the sewing shop workers will allegedly be retrained and given jobs. Shalimov also proposed that VOG raise the rent. from 90 thousand rubles per month up to 120 thousand rubles, but his business plan was of no use.

"The for-sale ad was removed from the website and a new management company was signed, which will pay double the rent [180 rubles]. I was asked to leave and given three months to find a new job. I will retain the sewing workshop equipment, but no one from VOG will help me find and rent a new space; they simply no longer need my services."“,” Shalimov told reporters.

He explained that the lease was only for six months, and after that, it could be terminated and the building would be put back up for sale. For the sewing business to continue operating, Shalimov needs to find a space. This won't be easy: it needs to be located in the Gorroshcha district, close to the dormitory, as deaf people would have difficulty getting to the other side of the city.
