A bridge in Tuva was washed away by floodwaters. Three roads in the republic's districts are flooded.

Driving on the road Abaza - Ak-Dovurak The 61st kilometer is temporarily closed. The city administration reported this. Ak-Dovurato, specifying that the water level in the river Ak rose, the bridge is flooded, the road surface is impassable.

Head Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg He clarified on his Telegram channel that the situation on the region's roads is changing hourly: "For a republic on wheels, this is a difficult situation," — he explains (in Tuva there are no railways). 

The governor writes that the bridge on the highway that was damaged the day before Khandagayty - Mugur-Aksy quickly restored, on the stretch from Sug-Aksy until Bayan-Tala The water has spilled onto the roadway, but there is a bypass road.  

"We've begun constructing a temporary crossing on the Abakan-Ak-Dovurak section. Due to the sharp rise in the Ak River water level, the embankment support and the bridge span collapsed. A guard has now been posted there, and the crossing is closed. <...> Reconstructing this bridge requires significant resources and effort. I've contacted the Russian Ministry of Transport." — writes Khovalyg.

Despite the complexity of the flood situation, Tuva The state of emergency remains in effect in regional forests. As of the morning of June 13, eight forest fires have been registered.
