"I haven't committed any crimes. People know how kind I am. Allah sees that my conscience is clear. I am grateful to everyone who supported me, wrote letters, and wished me well."“, the woman said, unable to hold back her tears. 

"Govorit NeMoskva" reported that Musayeva, who suffers from diabetes, was hospitalized after spending a year and a half in a Grozny pretrial detention center. She also fainted several times in the police station due to health issues. 

As a reminder, in January 2022, Chechen security forces came to the Yangulbayevs' apartment in Nizhny Novgorod. They detained Zarema and took her to Grozny, allegedly as a witness in a criminal case. She was ultimately arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. She also faces fraud charges.

The verdict will be announced on July 4.
