"We can't solve all the problems with just those mobilized during the Second World War": the mayor of Petrozavodsk announced his decision to go to war.

Vladimir Lyubarsky completed Special Course 1 at the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes and now intends to go fight in Ukraine.
«The decision that I made today was final and had been brewing for a long time. since the beginning of the Second World War. During visits to our guys, our mobilized soldiers, it strengthened, but it was not yet final. The war This isn't romance, it's not a movie, and it's not books. And we won't be able to resolve all the issues that need to be resolved with just those mobilized during the Second World War.», - wrote Lyubarsky on his VK page.
The Petrozavodsk mayor noted that he would hand over his responsibilities to an acting mayor during his absence, but did not specify who exactly he was referring to. The mayor believes that he "hasn't abandoned anything or left anything undone to the point of not being confident of the desired outcome for our city."
«What's already been accomplished today won't disappear or disappear. We've preserved city transportation, updated, and will continue to update our trolleybus fleet.“,” added Lyubarsky.
Opinions are divided regarding the Petrozavodsk mayor's decision. Some consider his actions "the decision of a warrior and a true man," while others say Lyubarsky is simply "running away from his problems."
«Abandoning the city in the midst of garbage and transport reforms. It's easier to run away from problems and return, like Alupova, with the aura of a hero. A great way to throw problems onto IO, to admit your impotence.", - wrote in the comments to Lyubarsky's post Tatyana Negodova.
«If he doesn't return to the mayor's chair, I'll respect him. Otherwise, what if we end up with someone completely "untouchable" who'll be hard to even properly criticize??, he asks. Inna Ostrovskaya.
«He'll spend six months roaming the rear and then return home as a combat veteran. They'll award him a medal and a certificate, and he'll proudly rip his shirt open at every pointed question: "Yes, I shed blood for the Fatherland."", he believes Victor Kondrashov.
