"Lenin was here, Lenin is here, Lenin will be here." In Kungur, another monument to Ilyich was ceremoniously erected on the site of the collapsed one.

A monument to Lenin at the station square in Kungur, Perm Krai. collapsed at the end of March. The day before, another one appeared in place of the destroyed one - it was moved from Karl Marx Street and have opened in a festive atmosphere.
First, communists and other city residents collected signatures to move the monument from the vacant lot, then, "thanks to the assistance of the city administration and the management of the Kungur branch of Russian Railways," they painted it and installed it in the empty space.
“And now, as before, Vladimir Ilyich will meet and see off guests and residents of the city of Kungur, — said the first secretary of the Perm Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Ksenia Aytakova. - Lenin was here, Lenin is here, Lenin will stand here."
She also emphasized that Lenin's ideas are "of enormous importance for our country," especially now, when Russia "faces formidable challenges." However, to successfully respond to them, "the country must learn the lessons of the Soviet era and make the best use of its creative experience."
Residents of Kungur reacted differently to the opening of the renovated monument. "Worshiping a mummy and believing in a non-existent country are symptoms of mental illness. Get well soon," "Everyone has their own memories of the monument to Ilyich. Looking at it, you remember being inducted into the Young Pioneers by the monument, and those are pleasant memories," "What the hell kind of Young Pioneers could there be when he built his way of life on the blood of millions of people?"- argued they.
