In April 2023, the Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg sentenced him to 19 years Roman Nasryev и Alexey Nureyev for setting fire to a military registration office in the city Bakal Chelyabinsk region. They smashed a window and threw two Molotov cocktails inside. A guard quickly extinguished the fire, damaging only a section of the military registration and enlistment office's linoleum floor. The court charged the men with committing a terrorist act and training in terrorist activity for the training videos found on Nuriyev and Nasryyev's phones.

On July 15, Memorial recognized Nasryev and Nuriyev as political prisoners.

"The unfair criminal prosecution of Nuriyev and Nasryev and the harsh punishments imposed on them, which are clearly disproportionate to the gravity of their actions, grossly violate their right to a fair trial and are aimed at intimidating those who disagree with the war against Ukraine," says in a message from Memorial.

For today in list of Memorial has 153 names of political prisoners (not including those persecuted for their religion).
