A "bolt" has appeared on the site of an unbuilt park in Shushary, which the authorities "put on the village."

Ten years ago, the authorities of the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg and the developer SK Dalpiterstroy promised to build a park on a 13-hectare site in the 60,000-person village of Shushary.
Having not received the promised gift, local residents installed a two-meter sculpture of a bolt on a vacant lot, which, in their opinion, "fully reflects the city authorities' attitude toward residents of Shushary," Fontanka.ru noted.
«This year, our village celebrates an anniversary: the promise to build a park has already been in place for 10 years. That's how long the authorities and the developer have been putting off their commitment to greening the 13 hectares of land behind Starorussky Prospekt, allocated in the General Plan for a recreation area for residents.", - the message says.
According to Shushary residents, this year the planned area of the promised park has been reduced on paper to 3 hectares, with Dalpiterstroy attempting to convert the remaining 10 hectares into high-rise residential development.
Last year, creative Shushary residents also tried to attract the authorities' attention to improving the area by installing a large fig in a vacant lot. Since then, Shushary residents have had their own park, "Kukish Park."
