On the forum Russia – Africa in St. Petersburg the head's daughter Chechnya's Ramzan Kadyrov - Khadizhat Kadyrova, who heads the Department of Preschool Education Terrible, promised donate 12 million rubles collected through the campaign to children from poor families "Children of Chechnya for the Children of Africa"She also announced the establishment of 10 scholarships at Chechen universities for medical students from Guinea by the Akhmat Kadyrov Charitable Foundation.
A message about this appeared on Ramzan Kadyrov's Telegram channel.
According to Khadizhat Kadyrova, the money was raised through a charity sale of handicrafts made by kindergarten children.
Chechnya's 2023 budget revenue is 125,5 billion rubles, of which over 106 billion are various subsidies and grants. Yet, one in three families in Chechnya lives below the poverty line.
Ранее Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on the same forum said about plans to open branches of major Russian universities in Africa. Thus, Perm Pedagogical University with Russian Biotechnology University will launch four educational centers in African countries - in Zimbabwe, South Africa, the Republic of Namibia and Botswana.
