Schoolchildren in a village in Karelia are being transferred to distance learning due to a shortage of bus drivers.
Children from the village Ryaimyalya there is no one to take me to the village Salmi, where there is a school. Local authorities did not find the drivers and offered to translate Schoolchildren are now on distance learning. The school administration promised to resume shuttle service on September 11, but residents of Räimälä aren't entirely convinced. They left numerous angry comments on the public group "Overheard in Pitkäranta":
"Salmi School isn't ready for distance learning, and distance learning isn't taking place. Many children don't have access to Google Classroom, which has been a concern since last year. Sharing a child's homework isn't learning. The students include first-graders and high school seniors with exams coming up."
"How are the children in Ryaimya learning remotely without proper mobile service or internet? Or do you consider doing homework remote learning?"
"The state allocates a certain amount per child each day for school meals. Where does this money go if a child doesn't attend school, especially during distance learning?"
"Writing here is pointless. You need to keep writing. Our administration won't help you in any way. They're not afraid of anything, not elections, not the devil. Their children go to school, and the rest doesn't concern them."
"I read the comments and am amazed. Aren't the authorities in the administration ashamed of what's happening in the district? And what about the slogan 'All the best for the children'? How can you not love your people? Children? The kindergarten and school have closed, and there's no shuttle service to another school."
"Uuksu has the same problems, I support the appeal to the deputies😊."
Ранее NotMoscow Wrote about how in Dagestani village of Oktyabrsky After parents secured the closure of the dilapidated school, the children were transferred to distance learning. The authorities promised all children tablets and laptops to facilitate distance learning—but it's not hard to guess how these promises ended.
And in Rostov region The district administration refused to repair the road used to transport children to school. And suggested schoolchildren to move to another farm.
