NeMoskva spoke with relatives of those mobilized. The women unanimously claim that no matter where they turn for leave or rotation, the answer is the same. Leave is granted by the commander depending on the combat missions facing the unit.

As his wife told NeMoskva, her requests for another leave have been met with "only promises and hopes. The commanders won't grant leave. Oksana, a Muscovite,'s son was mobilized in early October last year. The young man, who has a one-year-old child, was sent to a military base in Kaliningrad almost immediately after his conscription. Now, his family has been advised to file complaints there.

How do you assess the words of your colleague Andrei Kartapolov, who asserts that those mobilized will remain at the front until the end of the military conflict?

I've said many times that the mobilized forces are tired, both physically and psychologically. I believe that everything must be done to organize the rotation of mobilized forces to contract service as quickly as possible.

You wrote in your Telegram channel that the Ministry of Defense is now offering mobilized personnel the opportunity to sign contracts and continue serving as contract soldiers. How should this be viewed? As a rotation? As a shift from mobilized personnel to contract soldiers?

With such a formal "rotation," only the soldier's legal status changes. When I speak of rotating a mobilized soldier to a contract soldier, I, of course, mean a real replacement of the soldier, not a fictitious change in concept.

For the Ministry of Defense, of course, it is easier to leave everything as is and replenish the units that suffered medical losses with new recruits.

Sharafiev is confident that many issues related to mobilization are enshrined in law, such as mandatory leave once every six months.

Many issues are regulated at the legislative level; the main thing is that these laws and regulations work, he believes.

At a meeting with Lukashenko, Putin announced the number of people who signed voluntarily contracts with the Ministry of Defense this year.

300 thousand contracts have been signed by people who – I want to emphasize once again – are ready to sacrifice their lives in the interests of their homeland, defending the interests of Russia, said Putin.
