"SVO" = WWII? Ukraine war PR proponents continue to exploit the Great Patriotic War theme.

On Belgorod started running "Mobile information point for contract service in the Russian Armed Forces." It's a bus with a poster on one side that reads, "Have you volunteered?" and on the other, "The Motherland is calling." It's calling, as you might guess, to volunteer for the "SVO."

At the center, you can not only submit an application and take a test, but also shoot at an electronic shooting range and enjoy "interactive simulators of the workplace of an infantry fighting vehicle gunner, driver, and unmanned aerial vehicle operator."

"I'm confident that this is a unique decision we made jointly with the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Belgorod Region Military Commissioner's Office, and it's the right one. I'm confident this format will definitely yield results.", the governor said on this matter. Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

And in Gelendzhik, at school No. 7 in the village of Kabardinka, the mural was unveiled, which depicts a veteran of the Great Patriotic War Anatoly Komarov and "participant in a special military operation" Kirill Ivanov.

"It's symbolic that the mural depicts the Heroes shoulder to shoulder. Just as during the Great Patriotic War, today the people of Gelendzhik faithfully defend the interests of their country.", explained the Gelendzhik administration.
