Most Russians are tired of the war.

This was discovered by the Levada Center in an October survey of Russian residents' attitudes toward the war in Ukraine. Moreover, 12% of regional residents would oppose it if Putin decided to end military operations.
However, the numbers reversed when the researchers added the condition "stop and return the annexed territories to Ukraine" to the question. In this case, 16% of respondents would support Putin's decision, while 38% would definitely disapprove.
Overall, 55% of respondents surveyed by the Levada Center believe that Russia and Ukraine should hold peace talks. Another 38% of Russians believe the war should continue.
Overall, support for Russian military actions in Ukraine remains high. In October, 76% of regional residents responded that they definitely or somewhat support the war, while only 16% did not.
