A member of the Federation Council spoke out against young women receiving higher education, as it "leaves them without a reproductive function."

Senator of the Chelyabinsk Region Margarita Pavlova said This is in an interview with the Tsargrad TV channel, which she gave as part of the Russian Economic Forum, which was held in Chelyabinsk from 9 to 11 November.

In response to the interviewer's question about whether Pavlova "isn't afraid of being accused of wanting to turn back time," the senator replied that there was nothing to worry about, since "children aren't born in rich apartments, children are born in the head, first and foremost, in the head."

Previously, Pavlova advocated for the banning of abortions and the promotion of child-free policies among teenagers.

Margarita Pavlova herself has not only a higher education but also a master's degree. In 2001, she graduated from the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts, and in 2014, she completed her master's degree at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
