The leadership of a Cossack school in the Rostov region has been accused of beating a cadet.

Ivan Marinets, the father of a student at the Shakhty Cossack Cadet Corps, reported that his son was beaten by the school's principal and vice principal. He intends to have these employees fired.

"On the morning of October 27th, my child called me and told me he'd been beaten by the school principal, Vitaly Bobylchenko, and the vice principal. He said he'd been standing in physical education class with his phone, filming the kids while they were practicing. The principal and vice principal came in and asked why Lesha was carrying a phone. My son replied that, as a senior cadet, he had the right to have a phone. It was allowed so he could contact his class teacher and the class officer. The others only get phones in the evening to contact their parents. To which the principal told him, 'You're a loser and a bastard, not a senior cadet.' Then he hit the child in the face, and my son fell to the mat," приводит Words by Ivan Marinets, portal 161.ru.

The beaten cadet, Alexei Marinets, said he tried to shield his head from the blows, but the principal continued to hit him. Meanwhile, the school's vice principal tried to unlock the boy's phone and check what was on it. When the beating stopped, Alexei was helped by a physical education teacher, who examined him and later sent him to the medical center because he was vomiting. Doctors found hematomas all over his body and a broken finger.

Following this incident at the school, the Department of Cossack Affairs and Cadet Educational Institutions of the Rostov Region started Conduct an investigation. Department head Petr Serov repeatedly offered to reconcile the parties, as school principal Vitaly Bobylchenko is a "respected person" and could not have beaten a cadet.

Vitaly Bobylchenko called the whole story a lie and claimed that the cadet broke his finger while playing basketball and made up the story because Alexey Marinets was having problems with his academic performance.

"Moreover, I consider this an attack on the institution. We are a cadet corps, a patriotically oriented institution. And lately, we've been experiencing a lot of attacks, including on our website," сказал Vitaly Bobylchenko. He previously denied the beating.

It should be added that the Shakhty Cossack Cadet Corps is named after Lieutenant General Yakov Baklanov, a Don Cossack and hero of the Caucasian War. called upon "to instill in children traditional values, ideals, and norms of behavior of the Cossack family, Cossacks, Orthodoxy, Russian civil society, and the multinational people of the Russian Federation."
