A reenactment of the war with Ukraine, involving tanks, was held in the Vladimir region "under conditions of secrecy."
Reconstruction Passed On January 20, at the Sergeytsevo training ground in the Kovrovsky district, the event involved T-72 tanks, BMP-3 and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, cars and other equipment, as well as more than 50 personnel armed with grenade launchers and small arms.

Organizers statedThey claimed this was the first such reenactment and called it an exercise. The scenario revolves around the breakout of an "enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group with the aim of committing sabotage into Russian territory." But they find themselves trapped by Russian troops.
"All enemy equipment is destroyed by a Russian tank. The saboteurs then attempt to break into a nearby village to hide among civilians, but are destroyed by Russian infantry. Some of the saboteurs are captured," is how one of the event's organizers described it.

The reenactment involved military veterans and reenactors from Moscow, Kovrov, Tula, Vladimir, and Gus-Khrustalny. Thirty soldiers participated, while the sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) had 26.
After the event, the organizers condemned local journalists and bloggers for reporting on the event in the media and on public pages.

"The stupid Kovrov (and other) media outlets (the idiots) have already leaked all the information on their idiotic public pages about the event's location and everything else. The fact is, this event was held in the strictest secrecy, and therefore, secrecy had to be maintained afterwards, at least about the location. But the stupid PR journalists have leaked all the information for everyone to see. Why the secrecy? Because this is training, and the enemy never sleeps," the organizers protested.
