"It's a fake": After complaints to the prosecutor's office, Volgograd TV hosts disavowed their video in which they published the personal information of people who brought flowers in memory of Navalny.
"The video that was distributed on all these channels—some media outlets bought it—is not our video. It's a fabricated, falsified video... We didn't show faces in our video because we're not allowed to show faces—we know and respect the laws of the Russian Federation very well," stated hosts of the program "Online Conversation" on the Volgograd 1 TV channel Sergey Mazanov and Roman Potolovsky.
Previously, participants of the movement "Watch" filed a complaint against them to the prosecutor's office and Roskomnadzor, and also announced a class action lawsuit against the Volgograd 1 TV channel from all victims.
