"The questions are simple and clear." The mayor of Orsk, who was escorted out to cries of "Shame!", spoke about today's rally.

Vasily Kozupitsa saidHe claimed to have "met with Orsk residents" who came to the city administration and "asked questions." The mayor omitted to mention that just hours earlier, the prosecutor's office had threatened to prosecute anyone who participated in the illegal event.

Judging by the promises made by Kozupitsa, hundreds of people were heard.
In particular, the mayor stated that:

🔸"Every family member will receive 100 rubles—and this is not compensation for lost property, but rather immediate support to help them recover from the disaster."

🔸Regional payments for property loss have been doubled. Previously, people were promised 100,000 rubles for total property loss and 50,000 rubles for partial loss;

🔸Victims will be compensated for their rent, and their utility bills, fines, and penalties will also be suspended;

🔸Those who wish can take a credit holiday;

🔸To stop looting, the number of police patrols will be increased in flooded areas;

Damage assessments for compensation payments will begin immediately after the water recedes. The mayor promised to complete this work as quickly as possible, without bureaucratic delays.
