"They promised us the moon." Belgorod residents were outraged by the placement of their children in a Ryazan tuberculosis sanatorium.

April 16 62 baby from the Belgorod region arrived in Ryazan. "The placement is organized at one of the supplementary education institutions in Solotcha. They will attend a school in Solotcha." сreported Ryazan media. The day before, it was revealed that the children were placed not in Solotchinsky, but in tuberculosis sanatorium in KiritsyThe parents were outraged by the conditions and profile of the sanatorium.
In the complaints, parents notedthat the rooms in the sanatorium "look more like a ward for bedridden patients," and the conditions themselves are not suitable for children: "there are no outlets in the room, no nightstands, no counselors."
"Why isn't money allocated for decent living conditions? Or is a rundown tuberculosis sanatorium really for children of the lowest class?" "Children in Nizhnevartovsk were welcomed with entertainers, excursions, a buffet, weekly shopping certificates worth 4 rubles, reindeer rides, excursions through the tundra, and clothing." — the parents responded to the publication.
Mother of a sixth-grader Elena Malgina She told NeMoskva that the living conditions don't bother her as much as the sanatorium's profile and the requirement to consent to some kind of "treatment" after passing tests.
We were promised such a golden future when we left that our parents sent their children without a second thought. The castle [the historical part of the complex] has a private building, our children are in another, very ordinary one. The children are on one floor without supervision, and the teachers are already tired. They're running up and down two floors. And I know what a tuberculosis sanatorium is like; healthy children have no business there. - she spoke out.

According to Malgina, they were not told what kind of treatment the children would undergo.
Reviews of the sanatorium are mixed. Among other things, parents claim that bullying is rampant and that the medical staff is unresponsive to conflicts.
Belgorod Minister of Education Andrey Milekhin promised the parents to resolve everyday issues at the sanatorium.
