Clothing that sets the path to reform: The Ministry of Justice unveiled a new uniform for prisoners.
The Federal Penitentiary Service proposes changing the color scheme and appearance of existing uniforms, as well as introducing new clothing and footwear.
Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuychenko He noted that the new models "will not only help improve the appearance of prisoners but will also contribute to the further humanization of their conditions of detention." He thanked his colleagues from the Federal Penitentiary Service for their work.
The "fashion show" was held at a meeting with representatives of human rights organizations. The Ministry of Justice press service reported that, according to the meeting participants, "clothing plays an important role in setting prisoners on the path to rehabilitation; it should be modern, comfortable, and convenient."
Meanwhile, in the Buryat colonies, prisoners give out used shoes, citing the fact that all the money goes to the war.
