"Dirt Road for Life." The head of the Tver district refused to repair the road on the street where a "Navalny supporter" and "democrat" lives.

Head Oleninsky district Tver region Oleg Dubov spoke on the Tver Region program about road repairs in the village of OleninoThe prosecutor's office ordered him to patch the potholes, and officials presented a work plan. Of the 10 streets in need of repair, one will remain full of potholes. Dubov refused to fix it because "a person of non-traditional political orientation" lives there.

It will remain without repairs Shkolnaya Street.

"The street could be named after a citizen who loves fighting for democracy. One moment he cries for Navalny, the next he writes about how good democracy is. And before that, he wrote about how much he respects Zelensky. So, here it is: the rest of the street will be a dirt road for life. Matter closed." splitdressed up official.

He also stated that the issue of “dead” roads was used “for political purposes.”

That same "democrat" Victor Kuznetsov answered Dubov in the local group: "Oleg Dubov, residing in the democratic Russian Federation, I'm still curious how you'll get a passport for Shkolnaya Street, which the court ordered you to obtain."

This prank is far not pfirst in Dubov's track record.

In 2018, during the grand opening of the only lamppost in the village of Kholmets Dubov called the villagers who asked for lighting on the road leading to the water pump "riff-raff and drunken idiots." He then declared: "Areas where protests are allowed cannot count on any understanding or support from the district."

In 2020, Dubov's anger turned on the building's residents, who complained about him to the authorities. At the time, the municipality was renovating the building's entrance hall, but the official decided to punish the residents by canceling the stairwell's painting.

Despite his unique style of governance, Dubov has managed to outdo even Putin in some ways: he has been ruling the district for 28 years.
