"In order to provide assistance to military personnel," Stavropol bailiffs confiscated the car of a drunk driver "for the needs of the SVO."

This was reported by the employees of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for Stavropol Krai Wrote on the department's VK page.

The man had previously come to the attention of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for driving under the influence of alcohol. Since he had committed a similar offense a second time, the court found him guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Russian Criminal Code. He was sentenced to community service, and his car was confiscated. 

"The vehicle was handed over to representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense for use by the Air Defense Forces to provide assistance to military personnel." — the bailiffs reported.
