"Well-fed, rested patriots": the "Road Home" movement proposed replacing mobilized soldiers with the children and husbands of propagandists
The movement of relatives of those mobilized has called for their loved ones to be replaced at the front "with the children and husbands of those who tell our citizens on TV that war is good," who "with a predatory smile discuss the possibility of a nuclear strike" and consider it an honor "to die for the bloody goals of a handful of crazed old men."
So far, the list contains 20 names, all of them men of draft age – “well-fed, rested, true patriots” – who, according to the movement’s participants, could go to war.
Among them are sons Dmitry Medvedev, Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, actor Ivan Okhlobystin and singer Oleg Gazmanov, Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN) and the TV presenter's husband Olga Skabeeva Evgeny Popov.
"We can write a list long enough to replace every mobilized soldier. Something tells me such a replacement would end all hostilities very quickly," Wrote participants of the movement.
In May, the authorities designated the "Put Dom" movement as foreign agents. On Russia Day, the movement joined to the marathon of solidarity with political prisoners.
